Q2 2024 iOS Carpooling & Ridesharing Apps Overview in the US

Starting with Uber - Request a ride, the app saw a steady climb in downloads from 902 in the first week of April to a peak of 9.8K in the last week of June. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 41K and increasing to 77K by the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride also experienced growth, with downloads beginning at 1.7K in early April and reaching nearly 2.5K by late June. Weekly active users for Bolt grew from 5.9K to 7K over the same period.

For Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, the numbers started modestly at 74 downloads but saw a jump to 390 in the second week of June, followed by a slight decrease to 297 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 394 and peaking at 866.

The Careem – rides, food & more app had a lower start with 140 downloads in the first week of April and saw a decrease to 79 by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at 390, peaking at 457 in mid-April, and then dipping to 338 by the close of the quarter.

Lastly, Cabify showed a consistent performance in downloads, starting at 112 and ending the quarter with 103. The weekly active users for Cabify saw slight fluctuations but remained relatively stable, with an initial figure of 419 and concluding at 426.
